CSUN Women's Basketball invites the Matador community to come together for the 2nd Annual Tip-Off Lunch & Fundraiser, a special event celebrating the start of the 2026–27 women's basketball season and the student-athletes who proudly represent CSUN.
This exciting afternoon will bring together CSUN faculty and staff, alumni, fans, donors, families, community partners, and friends of the program for an opportunity to meet the 2026–27 team and coaching staff, cheer & dance, connect with fellow Matadors, and help support the continued growth of CSUN Women's Basketball.
More Than a Tip-Off
The Tip-Off Lunch & Fundraiser is about more than basketball. It is about community, leadership, opportunity, and investing in our student-athletes.
Funds raised through the event will help offset program costs and provide additional resources and experiences that support our student-athletes on the court, in the classroom, and throughout their collegiate journey.
Guests will also enjoy a featured panel discussion:
Creating Space for Women to Lead
This meaningful conversation will bring together women leaders and changemakers to share their experiences with leadership, mentorship, advocacy, overcoming barriers, and creating opportunities for women to grow and succeed.
The discussion reflects values that are at the heart of CSUN Women's Basketball—confidence, teamwork, leadership, mentorship, empowerment, and excellence—while encouraging all of us to consider how we can help create more opportunities for the next generation of women leaders.
