Northridge, CA (5 de Mayo, 2015) - El Departamento Atlético de CSUN anuncio hoy la introduccion de contenido de video en español como parte de la recién creacion de CSUN Sports Network, que comenzará en el otoño. El contenido en español de CSUN Deportes se cuentan con los estudiantes-atletas y entrenadores de CSUN de habla hispana. Este nuevo contenido de video en español se expondrán en GoMatadors.com y medios de comunicacion social de los Matadores y dará a los fanáticos una manera de conectar con los Matadores en español por primera vez. CSUN Deportes y CSUN Sports Network son una extension del programa actual de MatadorTV de CSUN, que es un líder en la Conferencia Big West para la produccion de video, y también abarcará futuras plataformas de contenido para el Departamento Atlético de CSUN.
"Estamos encantados de añadir CSUN Deportes a nuestra plataforma de CSUN Sports Network este otoño," dijo Dr. Brandon Martin, Director de Atletismo Intercolegial. Además de contenido en español en CSUN Deportes, el nuevo CSUN Sports Network grabará y producirá vídeos de actualizacion semanal para deportes de la temporada, se producirá un programa regular con entrenadores e invitados especiales, creará paquetes de vídeo más destacado de todos los juegos en El Matadome y producirá videos especiales que cubren eventos de atletismo y personalidades de CSUN. También acogerá una biblioteca de juegos clásicos nombrado "Mataclassics" y archivará contenido de audio de las emisiones de radio Matador Sports Network. CSUN Sports Network también continuará produciendo las transmisiones en vivo de los juegos de básquetbol y volibol de hombres y mujeres para BigWest.TV.

Los Matadores trabajarán con el Departamento de Cine y Artes de Television (CTVA) para crear CSUN Sports Network, dando a estudiantes experiencia en produccion de deportes y ampliar el alcance de las oportunidades disponibles para los estudiantes de CSUN interesados en produccion de multimedia y television.

Northridge, CA (May 5, 2015) - CSUN Athletics announced today that it will feature CSUN Deportes Spanish-language video content as part of the newly-created CSUN Sports Network, which will launch in the fall. CSUN Deportes Spanish-language content will feature Spanish-speaking CSUN student-athletes and coaches as well as give fans updates on all things Matadors. This new Spanish-language video content will be showcased on GoMatadors.com and the Matadors' social media handles and give fans a way to connect with the Matadors in Spanish for the first time ever. CSUN Deportes and the CSUN Sports Network are an expansion of CSUN's current MatadorTV program, which is a leader in the Big West Conference for video production, and they will also encompass future content multimedia platforms for the CSUN Athletic Department. "We're excited to add CSUN Deportes to our CSUN Sports Network multimedia platform this fall," said Dr. Brandon Martin, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. CSUN Deportes will let us connect with this community in their language and further enhance CSUN's reputation and visibility on and off campus."
In addition to Spanish-language content on CSUN Deportes, the new CSUN Sports Network will shoot and produce weekly update videos for in-season sports, produce a weekly Coach's Show featuring coaches and special guests, create video highlight packages of all Matadome games and produce special feature videos covering athletics special events and CSUN personalities. It will also host a "Mataclassics" classic game library and host archived audio content from Matador Sports Network radio broadcasts. The CSUN Sports Network will also continue to produce live broadcasts of men's and women's basketball and volleyball games for BigWest.TV and create an interactive in-arena experience for fans through the video displays in The Matadome.
"We have so many great stories to tell through CSUN Deportes, both on and off the field, and and it's amazing to be able to share them in a way that no one else in the conference does," said Jorge Martin, Director of Communications for CSUN. "What I love most is that the new CSUN Deportes videos will be produced by CTVA students. Everyone will be able to see the talent we have at CSUN, both behind the camera and on the field."
The Matadors will collaborate with CSUN's Department of Cinema and Television Arts (CTVA) to create and staff the CSUN Sports Network, giving CTVA student interns hands-on experience in sports production and expanding the breadth of opportunities available to CSUN students interested in television and multimedia production.
