CSUNÂ - 2025 (Sophomore)
Nir Eitan appeared in 10 matches and 17 sets during his sophomore season in 2025 ... finished his second season with four kills (0.24 kps) and just one error on five attacks to hit .600 ... also added eight blocks (1 solo) along with two aces and two digs ... served a career-high two aces to go with a season-high three blocks in CSUN's 3-2 win at No. 15 Lewis (Mar. 20) ... also recorded a pair of blocks against St. Thomas Aquinas (Feb. 1) and at No. 8 Loyola Chicago (Mar. 22) ... had one kill in a match four times and matched his career-high with one assist at Loyola Chicago.
CSUNÂ - 2024 (Freshman)
Nir Eitan appeared in 19 matches and 56 of the Matadors' 111 sets in his first season at CSUN as a true freshman in 2024 ... finished the season with 26 kills (0.46 kps), hitting .340 on 50 attacks ... also added 52 blocks (8 solo) and nine digs and four aces ... ranked fifth on the Matadors in blocks but averaged a team-high 0.93 blocks per set ... knocked down a season-high six kills on .500 hitting in CSUN's 3-0 win over the University of Charleston (Mar. 1) ... posted a season-high seven blocks on three different occasions; at No. 2 Hawai'i (Mar. 23), vs. No. 3 UC Irvine (Mar. 29), and vs. UC Santa Barbara (Apr. 13) ... served one ace in four different matches.Â
HOF HASHARON HS
Eitan prepped at Hof Hasharon High School in Shefayim, Israel ... his team won the Israeli high school volleyball championship in 2019 ... also competed for the Israeli U22 National Team.
