Habib Topjian joined the CSUN Sports Medicine team as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in Fall of 2018. Topjian, who works primarily with the Matador men's soccer and women's tennis programs, was promoted to Associate Athletic Trainer in January, 2021.
Prior to joining the CSUN Sports Medicine staff, Topjian spent two years working with the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League. With the Raiders, he headed up day-to-day operations of practices, implemented rehabilitation for players and played a critical role in the travel of crucial items for road games.
Topjian earned his master's degree at CSUN in kinesiology with an emphasis on sports psychology. While attending graduate school, Topjian was a Graduate Assistant working primarily with the men's volleyball, women's tennis and track and field teams.
Topjian graduated with a bachelor's degree in athletic training from CSUN in 2011. While an undergrad in the ATEP program, Topjian worked with a wide range of athletes, from high school students to Divison-I student-athletes.
Topjian currently resides in his in Arleta with his wife and newborn son. He lists the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Las Vegas Raiders as his favorite teams.
