Julio Rubio enters his third season as Director of Soccer Operations with the CSUN Men's Soccer program in 2024-25.
A CSUN alum, Rubio spent three seasons with the Matadors from 2017-19 where he lettered twice. As a senior in 2019, Rubio was 10th in the nation in assists with nine and 18th in assists per game at 0.47. He scored two goals for a total of 13 points, the third most of the team that season.
In his first season with CSUN in 2017, Rubio recorded three goals and eight points, highlighted by scoring the game-winning goal against Sacramento State in the Big West tournament first round.

Rubio began his collegiate playing career at Seattle University where he played in 34 matches and totaled six goals, four assists, 12 points and 25 shots for the Redhawks from 2015-16.
Rubio played professional soccer for two seasons (2020-21) with the Los Angeles Force and Stumptown AC of the NISA.
