Julia Johansson competed in all four of CSUN's events, playing in three tournaments and a team-high 10 rounds in an abbreviated spring season ... took a total of 765 strokes over 10 rounds for a team-leading 76.5 scoring average ... was the low Matador scorer in all four events ... fired a career-low round of (-3) 69 in round two of the Big West Championship (Apr. 20) ... also had CSUN's low 36-hole total (145) and 54-hole total (221), both coming at the conference championship where she finished 16th at (+5) 221 ... was the low player in a dual match vs. CSU Bakersfield (Mar. 31), carding a round of (+10) 82 ... placed 11th at the Jackrabbit Invitational (Mar. 8-9) at (+16) 232.
CSUN - 2019-20 (Sophomore)
Johansson competed in four tournaments and 14 rounds her first season at CSUN ... posted a scoring average of 79.3 which ranked third on the team ... took a total of 1,110 strokes over 14 rounds ... had CSUN's low 36-hole total of the season (150) at the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate (Sept. 28-29) ... went on to finish a season-best 22nd with a tournament score of 22-over 238 (74-76-88) ... posted a 54-hole season-low of 231 (83-74-74) at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational (Oct. 28-30) ... posted a low round of the season (74) on three different occasions.
TUSCULUM UNIVERSITY
Johansson spent her freshman season (2018-19) at Tusculum University in Greenville, Tenn. ... competed in 20 rounds for the Pioneers, taking 1,580 strokes for a 79.0 scoring average ... posted one top-five finish, two top-10 finishes and six top-20 finishes, including a season-best fourth-place finish at the Bob Dibble Classic (Sept. 9-10) ... low round of the season was even-par 72 in the opening round of the Patsy Rendleman Invitational (Oct. 8-9) ... the Pioneers won the South Atlantic Conference Championship ... earned Academic Freshman of the Year accolades.
