Brandyn Harvey

Brandyn Harvey joined CSUN Athletics as Director of Development in July 2026.
In his role, Harvey leads fundraising efforts that support the department's strategic priorities through donor engagement, major gifts, annual giving, and strategic partnerships. He works closely with alumni, donors, corporate partners, and campus leadership to strengthen the student-athlete experience and advance the mission of Matador Athletics.
Before joining CSUN Athletics, Harvey served as Development Director for the American Heart Association, where he led school engagement and fundraising initiatives across Los Angeles County. Previously, he served as Manager of Sports & Entertainment Partnerships for Be the Match, collaborating with professional sports organizations to advance the nonprofit's mission through strategic partnerships and community engagement.
A former Division I football student-athlete at Villanova University, Harvey went on to play professionally with the Atlanta Falcons, Arizona Cardinals, and Los Angeles Rams. His experiences as both a student-athlete and professional athlete continue to shape his passion for creating opportunities that empower student-athletes to succeed in competition, in the classroom, and beyond.
Harvey earned his bachelor's degree from Villanova University and his master's in sports business from Temple University.
