Dario Rios joined the Matador Achievement Center as Senior Athletic Academic Advisor and Assistant Learning Specialist Coordinator in February, 2024.

As Senior Athletic Academic Advisor, he will work with the CSUN women’s soccer and men’s baseball programs. In the Assistant Learning Specialist Coordinator role, he will coordinate supplemental academic support for student-athletes.

Rios comes to CSUN and the MAC after nine years as Academic Advisor in the College of Business Administration at Cal Poly Pomona. He brings over a decade of higher education experience, also srving as an admissions evaluator at Cal State Long Beach and RN-BSN (Nursing) Program Coordinator at National University.

Rios earned his bachelor of arts degree in history from Cal State L.A., and his master's in library and information science from San José State University.
