Dave Callis opens his first season as an assistant coach with CSUN Beach Volleyball in 2026.
With over 25 years as a professional coach, including nearly 10 years as a beach volleyball coach, Callis is the founder and head coach of The 10 Beach Volleyball Club. The 10BVC merged with Los Angeles Volleyball Academy to create LAVA Beach in June 2022.
A 1995 graduate of Cal Poly with a bachelor of science in business management, Callis competed in football and tennis at Salinas High School. He found his passion for beach volleyball on the beaches of Carmel, and later played in college.
He has led teams to national junior tournaments and is a member of numerous professional coaching associations, including AVP, AAU, and USA Volleyball.
Callis and his wife, Rochelle, have two daughters, Gabriella and Makenzie, and reside in Simi Valley.
