A Los Angeles native, Dr. Ric Sletten earned his Bachelor's Degree from UC Irvine and then went onto medical school at the UC San Francisco School of Medicine. He then returned to Southern California and completed his residency at the Ventura County Medical Center in affiliation with the UCLA School of Medicine Division of Family Medicine. Following his residency, he completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at VCMC and UCLA and earned a Certificate of Added Qualification from the American College of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Sletten has served as the Team Physician for CSUN since 1991 as well as the Director of the Sports Medicine Clinic at CSUN's Addie Klotz Student Health Center where as many as 35,000 students may be treated.
Dr. Sletten has recently expanded his practice as a Defeat Autism Now (DAN) Practitioner with the opening of the Sletten Wellness Medical Center in Ventura, CA.
