Mark Antonov

Mark Antonov opens his first season as an assistant coach for CSUN Beach Volleyball in 2026.
A 2021 graduate of Redondo Union High School, Antonov competed in volleyball for the Sea Hawks before moving on to El Camino College in Torrance, Calif. A setter for the Warriors from 2021-23, Antonov earned second-team All-Western State Conference honors in 2023. He appeared in 30 matches and recorded 294 assists, averaging 2.80 assists per set. He also added 187 digs (1.78 dps) and 113 kills. He also played beach volleyball at El Camiino College.
Antonov has previous coaching experience, serving as both head coach and assistant coach with Evolution Volleyball Club. He was an assistant with the 17 Elite team in 2024-25 and was the head coach of the 13 Elite team in 2023-24. Antonov helped lead the 17 Elite team to a first-place finish in the club division at the 2025 AAU Boys National Championship He also served as the head coach of the boys' JV team at Bishop Montgomery High School from 2023-25.
He also played for USA Beach Volleyball High Performance National Team Development Program (U15-Y20).
A native of Torrance, Antonov is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in computer science at CSUN.
