Lisa Erickson was inducted into the CSUN Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014. Erickson lettered for the CSUN Softball team from 1987 to 1990, earning NCAA Division II All-American accolades in 1989 and 1990.
Erickson, who was a member of CSUN's 1987 NCAA Division II National Championship team and four CCAA conference championship teams, held seven school records following her playing career. She remains the school record holder in career batting average (.410), career runs scored (170), career hits (293), and career stolen bases (117). She was a two-time first-team All-Region selection (1989, 1990) and a two-time CCAA first-team selection (1989, 1990) and CCAA Most Valuable Player (1989, co-MVP in 1990). Erickson was also a second-team All-CCAA recipient in 1988.
Erickson also owns the single-season school records in runs scored (66 in 1989), hits (113 in 1989), and stolen bases (46 in 1990). She established a school record for a single game with three stolen bases (three times).
Erickson earned her CSUN degree in liberal studies in 1991.
