CSUN travels to Hawai'i Thursday before heading to UC Irvine Saturday.

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—The CSUN women's basketball team begins a three-game road trip this week. The road swing gets underway at Hawai'i on Thursday night. Tip is set for 9 p.m. PT, 7 p.m. HT with coverage on BigWest.tv.

The Rainbow Wahine dropped a pair of games last week at UC Riverside (79-57) and UC Irvine (70-66) to fall to 1-5 in Big West play. Hawai'i is 8-11 overall. Sarah Toeaina is fifth in the Big West in scoring (14.7) and fifth in field goal shooting (52.3%). Makenna Woodfolk sits in sixth in the Big West in rebounding at 6.4 per game.

This is the 16th meeting between CSUN and Hawai'i with the Matadors leading the all-time series 8-7. CSUN have won four in a row dating back Jan. 14, 2016 when the Rainbow Wahine defeated the Matadors 77-50 at home.

The Matadors (10-9, 3-2 Big West) return to the mainland Saturday when CSUN heads to UC Irvine for a 2 p.m. Saturday's video stream will be produced by UC Irvine. At 11-8, the Anteaters have won more games this season than in the last two combined (9). UCI sits in a tie for third in the Big West with Cal Poly and CSUN at the start of this week with a 3-2 record. UC Irvine is at UC Riverside Thursday night before welcoming the Matadors to the Bren Events Center.

Since becoming eligible after her transfer from Michigan State five games ago, Morgan Green is averaging 23.8 points per game. She has scored at least 20 points in four of her five appearances. This is the 52nd meeting between CSUN and UCI with the Matadors leading the all-time series 27-24. The teams split a pair of games last season.

For the 11th time in her career and for the fourth time this season, junior Channon Fluker was named Big West Conference women's basketball Player of the Week Jan. 22. Fluker averaged 18.5 points and 16.0 rebounds to lead the Matadors to a 2-0 week. For the week, Fluker shot 46.4 percent (13-of-28) from the field and 64.7 percent (11-of-17) from the free throw line.

Fluker corralled 16 rebounds in each of CSUN's wins. The Matadors improved to 3-2 in Big West play with a 65-41 victory over Cal State Fullerton and a 60-55 triumph versus UC Riverside. Fifteen of the 32 rebounds Fluker accumulated came on the offensive end. She leads the conference with 87 offensive rebounds. Fluker's 11 career citations tie her second all-time in Big West history alongside former UC Santa Barbara great Erin Buescher. Anita Maxwell of New Mexico State is the record holder with 13.

Claudia Ramos tied her career high with 23 points in the victory over UC Riverside. Ramos also tied her career high with six made three pointers against the Highlanders. She averaged 12.5 points during last week's action.
