"Davis did a really good job, they play really well at home which we anticipated," said CSUN head coach Jason Flowers. "I think this was a wrap up of a week where I did an awful job of preparing our kids for the week. After success last week, we didn't handle this week at all. That's completely my fault. We have to go back and continue to get better and be ready for a really tough opponent on Thursday."
Â
The Matadors (13-12, 6-5 Big West) travel to UC Riverside (7-17, 4-6 Big West) Thursday night. Coverage on the CSUN Sports Network presented by Dignity Health gets underway at 6:55 p.m. with Eric Kaback on the call. Tip is set for 7 p.m.
