CSUN Softball to Host Preseason Banquet

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—The CSUN Softball team will be hosting a preseason banquet on Saturday, Feb.4, 2023, as a fundraiser for the program. The Orchard Conference Center on the CSUN campus will be where the event will be located.
"Our inaugural preseason banquet will be a great event for our program. It is giving us a chance to gather with our families and CSUN Softball supporters right before our season starts and get to spend quality with them," said CSUN head coach Charlotte Morgan.
Barb Jordan, a former CSUN All-American, Matadors' head coach, and CSUN Hall of Famer, will be the featured speaker. In addition, the team will honor the program's three seniors; Kayla Dominguez, Allie Gardiner, and Jordan Kaeka.
With the CSUN family and CSUN supporters in attendance, there will be silent auction items up for grabs and food served for those in attendance. Individual tickets are $100.
A table sponsor (9 seats and a meal) is $850 and will allow the sponsor to pick a player or a coach to sit at that table. In addition, there is one Head Coaches Table Sponsorship available for $1,000.
"Not only will we have some great silent auction gifts and fundraising opportunities, but we will have one of our alumni, who is in the CSUN Hall of Fame, Barb Jordan as our guest of honor," Morgan said. "We will hear from her, a student-athlete and coach who has come from this program and helped build this program. We will also celebrate our three seniors who have dedicated their time to this team and honor them accordingly. I am beyond excited for this event to occur, and I know our team will love spending time with everyone in attendance."
