"Today's weather conditions were extreme and ever-changing! At some points we experienced hail and 40 mph winds. After our round, we put in productive putting work and are looking to come back with ferocity tomorrow and Saturday. As a team, we're very proud of Julia's impressive six birdies and third-place standing."
The Matadors will be paired with CSU Bakersfield, Eastern Washington and Idaho State for the second round which gets underway Friday morning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
