COACH MICHELLE WINKLER SAID
"Today with almost perfect weather conditions, we didn't capitalize as well as we'd hoped on our birdie opportunities. We stuck with our game plan and played our approach shots very nicely. After some more putting work after the round, we're committing to putt more aggressively tomorrow."
The Matadors will be paired with CSU Bakersfield, Eastern Washington and Idaho State for Saturday's final round which gets underway with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
