CSUN Softball Adds Utah Transfer Destiny White

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---CSUN head softball coach Charlotte Morgan has announced the signing of Destiny White to a National Letter of Intent to continue her playing career with the Matadors.

"We are thrilled to add Destiny to the Matador family," Morgan said. "Destiny will help us behind the plate and provide the leadership we were looking for when looking at potential transfers. We are a younger team, and having her experience will be a huge key to our success. Her knowledge of the game is beyond her years and the way she sees the game. She believes in the standard and way we want to build this program back to its roots. We can't wait to see what footprint she leaves here at CSUN!"

White at a glance;

Destiny White C 5-3 R-Jr. R/R Vacaville, Calif./Utah

Played for the University of Utah from 2020-22.
Saw action in 92 games, starting 63 times.
Hit seven home runs, recorded four doubles, and charted 29 RBI.
Committed one error in 139 chances for a .993 fielding percentage.
A 2019 graduate of Vacaville High School.
Named first-team All-Monticello League as a senior after hitting .452 and leading the league in home runs.
Named first-team All-League as a junior.
Finished prep career second in school history in RBI and walks.

White joins Breli Agbayani-Shibao, Isabella Alonso, Lauryn Carranco, Kennedy Gustin, Raegan Jackson, Carys Murakami, Bella Mejia, Gizella Vargas-Sandoval, and Riley Wickum as players who have signed a national letter of intent for 2023.
