The Matadors (4-11, 3-2 Big West) continue a busy month with two games in three days.

CSUN travels to Big West leader UC Irvine on Saturday at 2 p.m. before returning home Monday night to host Hawai'i at 7 p.m. ESPN+ will stream both games. Jill Painter Lopez has the call for CSUN on Monday.Â

The Matadors will recognize Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on his national holiday Monday. All General Admission tickets are $5.

UC Irvine improved to 4-0 in Big West play with a 57-39 victory over Cal State Fullerton Wednesday night. The Anteaters improved to 12-3 overall.Â

Naomi Hunt leads the team in scoring (11.9). Hunter Hernandez is averaging a team-high 5.1 rebounds. Nikki Tom paces the squad in assists (52) and steals (32).

Saturday marks the 60th time CSUN and UCI are playing women's basketball, with the Matadors leading the all-time series 31-28.

ABOUT HAWAI'I
The Rainbow Wahine is tied for second in the Big West with UC Santa Barbara at 3-1. Hawai'i is 5-8 overall and will play at Long Beach State on Saturday before heading to Northridge.

Daejah Phillips (11.6) is the team's leading scorer. She also leads the team in assists (36) and steals (25). Kallin Spier leads the team in rebounding (8.1) and blocks.

Monday is the 25th time CSUN and Hawai'i are playing women's basketball, with the Rainbow Wahine leading the all-time series 13-11.Â

JACKSON WITH A CHANCE AT 1,000
CSUN guard Jordyn Jackson can score 1,000 career points this season for the Matadors.Â

Jackson scored a season-high 26 points at UC Davis on Jan. 11. She currently has scored 963 career points. If Jackson reaches 1,000, she will become the 14th Matador women's basketball player to score 1,000 points in a CSUN career.

Jackson has been successful at the free throw line this season. She made 29 in a row from the free throw line dating back to the Dec. 17 game against Santa Clara before missing an attempt against Cal State Fullerton. She has made 46 of her last 49 free throw attempts.Â

Against UC Davis on Jan. 11, Jackson made 11-of-12 free throw attempts. The 11 made free throws are the ninth most in a game by a Matador at the Division I level.

As of Jan. 11, she is shooting 86.4% (57-of-66) from the charity stripe, which has her ranked 54th in Division I.Â

Returning to the San Diego game on Dec. 6, Jackson, a guard, is shooting 53.1% from the field (51-96). Jackson has appeared in 105 games for CSUN, starting 78. The graduate student has moved to eighth in school history in made three-pointers with 106.Â
