CSUN Softball Signs Talia Jenkins To National Letter of Intent

NORTHRIDGE, CALIF.—CSUN head softball coach Charlotte Morgan has announced the signing of Talia Jenkins to a National Letter of Intent to continue her playing career with the Matadors.

"Talia will be a great asset to this team and behind the plate," Morgan said. "She brings great softball IQ, and she handles pressure situations well. She handles herself in a very mature manner and does a great job connecting and working with her pitchers. I am excited to see what she adds to our roster next year."

Selected first team 5A All-State and first team All-SIC Conference as a junior.
Hit .317 with seven home runs and 26 RBI in 2022…posted a .634 slugging and a .380 on-base percentage…scored 16 runs, with three doubles, and one triple.
Named Treasure Valley Athlete of the Week on Mar. 23, 2022, after hitting a game winning two-run RBI single in a 6-5 victory over Owyhee High School and homering with three RBI in a 19-1 victory over Columbia High School.
Named Treasure Valley Athlete of the Week on May 5, 2022, for hitting the game winning home run in the 8-7 victory over Rocky Mountain High School in a 5A District Three Tournament play-in game.
Chosen second team All-SIC Conference in 2021.
Played for the NW Bullets Club program.

Jenkins joins Moani Ioane, Jerzie Liana, Alexa Ortiz, Alexia Ramirez, and Hailey "Lulu" Sanchez in the class of 2023.
