CSUN Softball Signs Larissa Flores to National Letter of Intent

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - CSUN head softball coach Charlotte Morgan has announced the signing of Larissa Flores to a National Letter of Intent to continue her softball career with the Matadors.

"We are beyond excited to be adding Larissa to our program," said Morgan. "She brings versatility to our defense and is only adding to the group of amazing student-athletes that we already have. We can put her anywhere on the field and she will be successful and she will compete. We are excited to see the way she can contribute and how she grows within our program."Â

- Earned All-San Gabriel Valley League honors in 2022.
- Played catcher, shortstop and was a utility player for the Gladiators.
- Was named Defensive Player of the Year.
- Hit .328 in 17 games with 19 hits, 17 runs and 5 RBI.
- Also played for the Mexico U-18 National Team in 2023.Â
- Boasting a 3.8 grade point average, is a 2024 graduate of Gahr High School in Cerritos.
- Was named to the Top 50 in the Nation list by Extra Inning Softball.
- Led her 5 Star Play Makers travel team to a third-place finish at the TCS Colorado 4th of July Fireworks Tournament.
- Her team also placed in the top 10 at TCS Nationals and fifth at the 2022 PGF Premier Nationals.Â
