COACH MICHELLE WINKLER SAID
"Although we fell short of a victory today, I'm proud of the way our team has started this season. This was our first 18 holes, and we have our vision set for this semester. I know that we have a lot of good scores to come! I am very happy for Julia for putting together such a solid round. Her long game wasn't there today, but her short game saved her. This is just reinforcing the attention we will give to our short games this semester."
CSUNÂ returns to the course next week (Feb. 6-7) as the Matadors travel to Bakersfield to compete in the Valley Invitational at Bakersfield Country Club.
