COACH MICHELLE WINKLER SAID
"Elle has been sick this entire tournament. She went out each day taking it shot by shot with zero expectations. Her attitude and commitment to the game plan was nothing short of impressive. I'm so proud of her after this finish, and I know she has more confidence going into Fresno State."
The Matadors will next head to Fresno to play their final tournament before the Big West Championship. CSUN will tee it up at the Fresno Classic Mar. 27 at San Joaquin Country Club in its final tune-up before the conference championship gets underway Apr. 16 in Las Vegas.Â
