Two Matadors in the Top-20, CSUN 6th at Lehigh Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Sophomore Nicole Tanoue and junior Kim Turgut both finished in the top 20 to lead the CSUN women's golf team to a sixth-place finish Sunday at the Lehigh Invitational at Saucon Country Club. After posting an opening team round of 318, the Matadors finished round two at 328 to finish sixth in the nine-team field.

- After posting a team-high four birdies and nine pars in round one's 3-over 75, Tanoue added eight pars on Sunday to finish at 12-over 84. Tanoue, who recorded her first top-20 finish of the season, wound up tied for 16th in the 48-player field at 15-over 159.
- Turgut, who opened with a 10-over 82 on Saturday, notched her second top-20 finish of the season tying for 19th at 17-over 161. Turgut, who was 2-over on the front nine, posted a team-high two birdies along with nine pars to finish round two at 7-over 79.
- Freshman Ariya Soldwisch finished just outside the top 20, tying for 26th at 20-over 164. Soldwisch had eight pars in a final round 14-over 86.
- Sophomore Meghan Paracuelles followed up an 11-over 83 in round one with one birdie and eight pars in a second straight round of 83. She wound up 31st in the field at 22-over 166.
- Junior Gracie Piar finished the tournament with 13 pars - nine on Sunday, tying for 37th at 26-over 170 (88-82).
