
Soldwisch Leads CSUN to Dual Match Win Over Cal State Bakersfield

GOLETA, Calif. - Led by sophomore Ariya Soldwisch's 1-under 71, the CSUN Women's Golf team had the top four finishers in a Tuesday dual match win over Cal State Bakersfield at Sandpiper Golf Course.
Soldwisch was the lone player in the 16-player field to finish under par, carding a 1-under 71. As a team, the Matadors finished at even par 288 to claim the team event by 16 shots over the Roadrunners, who finished at 16-over 304.

- Following Soldwisch, seniors Gracie Piar and Kim Turgut tied for second at even-par 72.
- Nicole Tanoue finished fourth at 1-over 73, while freshman Sophie Cook made her CSUN debut and finished sixth at 2-over 74.
- Meghan Paracuelles finished sixth at 3-over 75, and Ellie Shirley made her season debut tying for ninth at 6-over 78.
- Lily McGowan rounded out the CSUN scoring, finishing 13th at 9-over 81.
