CSUN's Dorian Drucks Collects Preseason All-Big West Honors

NORTHRIDGE, Calif.---CSUN's Men's Soccer's senior goalkeeper Dorian Drucks was one-of-11 placed on the Big West Preseason Coaches' Team, as announced on Wednesday by the league's office. The Matadors were also picked to finish fifth in the conference by the league's head coaches.
The Matadors are also coming off their best defensive season in 2025 in terms of goals allowed in the Division I history of the program. CSUN only allowed 13 goals and recorded eight shutouts behind the work of Drucks. Drucks etched his name into the record books in 2025, as he is tied for second for the most shutouts in a season in team history.
Drucks started in 17 matches playing over 1,500 minutes while posting a 0.76 goals-against average with 74 saves. He also recorded multiple standout performances, including a season-high nine saves in a shutout win over Biola (8/30/25) and eight saves at Grand Canyon (9/26/25).
In the 2026 Big West Preseason Coaches' Poll, CSUN received 17 points to take fifth place.
Defending champion UC Santa Barbara got 34 points and were picked to finish first. UC Irvine received 32 points and was picked second. Newcomer Utah Valley was picked third, and Cal State Fullerton was picked fourth.
Picked to finish sixth was Cal State Bakersfield and Sacramento State was voted to finish last.
The Matadors are coming off a 2025 season where they finished with an overall record of 6-6-6 and were 1-5-3 in the Big West. Head coach Terry Davila is entering his 28th season at the helm.
