Max Fecske is in his first season with the CSUN Baseball team as a graduate manager. His primary responsibilities include assisting with the coordination of recruiting as well as offensive and infield consulting.
Before beginning his coaching career, Fecske played collegiate baseball with Glendale College before transferring to Webster University in St. Louis, Mo.
In his freshman campaign, Fecske hit .311 in 24 games for the Glendale Vaqueros. Fecske helped contribute to the Vaqueros’ third consecutive Western State Conference Championship, a CCCAA Regional win and CCCAA Super Regional Berth.
In his sophomore season, Fecske led the Webster Gorloks with a .419 average and .463 on base percentage while manning left field. With the Gorloks, Fecske was a part of their 10th consecutive SLIAC Conference Championship, an NCAA Division III Central Regional Championship and a berth in the NCAA Division III World Series.
After hip and shoulder injuries ended Fecske’s career, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Webster University in 2016.
Following his graduation, Fecske began his coaching career at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif. At Notre Dame, Fecske coached the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 MLB Draft, Hunter Greene. In his two years there, Fecske helped the Knights win the Mission League in 2017, and garner national attention as Baseball America’s No. 1 ranked team in the country from February to April in 2018.
Fecske was born and raised in Studio City, Calif. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 2012.
