Diane followed up his outstanding freshman season with his second-straight Big West Player of the Year award ... Averaged a double-double for the second year in a row as he posted 25.6 points and 10.2 rebounds in 19 games ... His scoring and rebounding averages would make him the second player in Big West history to lead the league in both categories in two-straight years but he did not play in the minimum amount of games required ... Would have also been third in the nation in scoring ... Still led the Big West in double-doubles (11) and registered seven 30-point games ... Recorded new career-highs in points per game, assists per game (2.8), steals per game (1.7) and free throw percentage (66.3) while shooting 48.0 percent from the field and blocking 2.0 shots per game ... Diane completed one of the most impressive and prolific Matador seasons in school history ... Named AP All-American Honorable Mention ... Became the first ever Big West player to win the conference's Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year and Newcomer of the Year awards all in the same season ... Also named to All-Big West First Team ... Earned All-District honors from the NABC and USBWA ... Broke the Matadors' single-season points (818), rebounds (368), field goals made (340), blocks (72) and double-double (20) records ... Led the nation in field goals made and was the only player in the country to average above 24 points (24.8), 10 rebounds (11.2) and two blocks (2.2) ... Ranked sixth in the nation in points per game and rebounds per game ... Finished first among all freshmen in rebounds per game and second in points per game ... 1-of-3 freshmen in the country to average a double-double ... Played the last two seasons with national power Findlay Prep where he helped the Pilots post a 33-4 record and earn a trip to the semifinals of the Dick's Sporting Goods High School Nationals in 2016-17 ... After scoring 8.5 points per game in his first season with the team, he doubled that point total by averaging 17.5 points to go along with 6.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.7 steals as a senior ... Also guided Findlay Prep to a national Top 10 ranking throughout his last season ... Along with his prep career, he has participated in several basketball showcases including the prestigious Adidas Nations, the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions and the Cancer Research Classic where he was named the Most Valuable Player ... Led the field at the Adidas Nations event in scoring, averaging 28 points per game ... Heavily recruited during his time with Findlay Prep ...
