Rodriguez competed in all five race on the season ... registered the 10th-best 6k time in school history with a PR of 19:08.7 to finish with 37th-place points and 48th overall at the Big West Preview (9/1/23) ... led CSUN with a new PR in the 8k and registered the fifth-best time in school history with a time of 24:33.7 to finish with 39th-place points and 45th overall at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational (10/14/23) ... finished with 41st-place points and 42nd overall at the Big West Championships with a time of 25:26.5 (10/17/23) ... posted a 10k time of 32:38.6 at the NCAA West Regional (11/10/23).
CSUN - 2022 (Sophomore)
Posted the fifth fastest 10k time by a Matador at the Division I level, a 31:40.3, to gain 162nd place points (165th overall) ... he lowered his personal best in the 10k by over a minute ... finished 37th at the Big West Championship in a time of 25:06.6 ... posted a season-best third at the Pepperdine Waves Invitational (27:04) ... established a 6k-best time of 19:43.8 at the season-opening Anteater Opener to place 20th.
CSUN - 2021 (Freshman)
Posted the top CSUN performance at The Master's Invitational as he finished with a time of 25:08.2 as he came in 11th overall (a season-best finish) ... placed 31st at the UC Riverside Highlander Invitational as he went 24:45.7, the sixth quickest in school history ... recorded a time of 32:19.3 at the 10k NCAA West Regional which is the sixth-fastest 10k time by a CSUN runner since 2000 ... opened the season by running 26:02.1 at the Stump Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2021 graduate of Highland High School … a four-time Golden League Champion in cross country … ran in the 2019 Division I CIF State Cross Country Championships, finishing 84th overall … was ninth in the 1600m at the 2019 CIF Southern Section Finals … a two-time Golden League Champion in the 800, 1600, and 3200m … named Highland High School’s Athlete of the Year in 2021 … high school bests in cross country were 9:27.50 in the two mile, 14:30.90 in the three mile, 15:30.00 in the 5000m, posted prep bests of 2:05.00 in the 800m 4:16.19 in the 1600m, 9:40.74 in the 3200m.

A business law major ... favorites include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Steve Prefontaine, Kobe Bryant, Adam Sandler, Megan Fox, Naruto, Without Limits, Pick Up Sticks, Green Day, and Tupac … chose CSUN for its campus, the team, and the coaching staff … says greatest sports moment so far is being the first runner from Highland High School to win four Golden League Cross Country championships ... says the best thing about being an athlete is seeing all your hard work pay off in a race … says the toughest thing about being an athlete is having very little time for your family and friends … the person in history he would like to meet is Steve Prefontaine…would like to switch places for one day with Itachi Uchiha … the best advice he has been given so far is to run with your heart … his advice to young people is always run to be the best…says his greatest heroes are his parents because they motivate him and always to be his side.
