Mazire has been CSUN's Assistant Athletic Director, Annual Fund since April of 2017. In this role, he oversees the annual fund program, works with program booster clubs, oversees the M Club and Matador Kids Club and organizes development events and event hospitality.
Previously, Mazire served as the CSUN Men's Basketball team's Director of Basketball Administration for two seasons.Â
Before coming to CSUN, Mazire worked for the Atlanta Hawks as a regional advance scout. He previously worked with head coach Reggie Theus at the Minnesota Timberwolves as a basketball operations assistant and video coordinator and has also been an advance scout for the Orlando Magic and a graduate assistant coach for New Mexico State Men’s Basketball. He has also worked with Nike, the NBA and the D-League Albuquerque Thunderbirds.
Mazire has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Syracuse University.Â
