Logan Baumann enters his first season as an assistant coach to the CSUN Men's Basketball staff in 2022-23.
Baumann joins the Matadors following four seasons spent on the Evansville coaching staff from 2018-22. He served as the Associate Head Coach under Todd Lickliter in 2021-22 after spending two seasons as an Assistant Coach and his first as an Associate Athletic Director for Basketball Operations.

Baumann was on the bench for the Purple Aces' historic win over top-ranked Kentucky in Rupp Arena in 2019. He helped lead UE to a top-five finish in the Missouri Valley Conference in 2020-21 as well as one of the top turnarounds in MVC history by improving the team's league win total by seven games from the previous season.

Baumann previously worked at the University of Louisville from 2015-18. He began as the Assistant Video Coordinator before ascending to Senior Director of Video Operations. Baumann brings collegiate experience from several conferences including the Missouri Valley Conference , Atlantic Coast Conference, American Athletic Conference and the Big East.

As an undergraduate student at Louisville, Baumann played in four games in the team's national championship season in 2013. He finished his undergraduate eligibility as a student manager under head coach Rick Pitino, pursuing an interest in collegiate coaching.

Baumann earned a bachelor's degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Economics from the University of Louisville in 2015. Baumann would further earn a master's degree in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University in 2019.
