Brad Rosenthal joined CSUN Athletics as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at CSUN in September of 2022. Rosenthal comes to CSUN from California Baptist University in Riverside, Calif., where he earned his master of science in athletic training in 2022 and a bachelor of science in exercise science in 2020.
While at CBU he worked with numerous sports including women’s basketball, baseball, and men’s water polo. During the summer of 2021, he worked as an athletic training intern for the University of Arizona football team. During his time in Tucson, he worked under Randy Cohen, DPT, AT, an expert in neuromechanical rehab for concussions and orthopedic injuries. He also has experience in blood flow restriction, Trazer simulation software, Alter-G treadmills and HydroWorx treadmills.
Rosenthal has also been an EMT since 2018 working in various public and private settings. He has worked at a motocross track and hospital emergency room where he has provided emergency and life-saving care.
Rosenthal credits his love of sports to his parents who ensured he got to experience a wide variety while growing up. In his free time, he enjoys riding dirt bikes, boating on the river, playing with his husky, Hollie, and traveling with friends.
