George Martin

Georg Martin oversees several duties with the CSUN Men's Basketball team including assisting with day-to-day operations, practice, game film and game day management. In May of 2024, Martin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, with an emphasis in exercise science.
After conversations with head coach Andy Newman and the coaching staff, he was welcomed back to the matador’s support staff with a new role as a graduate assistant, after two years of being a student manager with the team.
Martin plans on graduating with his master’s degree in biomechanics in May of 2026 and is aspiring to continue working in sports, whether it be in an administrative role, coaching, or becoming a strength and personal trainer.
