Tom Hutchison serves as the Director of Operations for CSUN Men's Golf as well as the Matador Women's Tennis program. He has previously worked with the CSUN baseball, women's golf and the women's soccer teams. His current duties include organizing team travel arrangements and coordinating apparel.
A native of the San Fernando Valley, Hutchison graduated from San Fernando Valley State College (now CSUN) in 1971.
He retired from the Department of Recreation and Parks after 32 years of service to the City of Los Angeles in 1998. Hutchison worked with Matador Athletics for 10 years before his appointment to the baseball staff from 2006 to 2012. In addition to his duties mentioned above, "Big Tom" also assisted the baseball team with fundraising, spearheading the Matador Diamond Club effort, and coordinated game film for the Matadors.
