2012 (R-SENIOR): Named the Big West Conference Defender of the Year, first team All-Conference, and second team NSCAA All-Far West Region...Competed in all but one match...scored one goal and added an assist for three points...Franco's goal came in the season-opening win over Portland and he had the game-winning assist in a home win over UC Davis...at the conclusion of his senior season, Franco was invited to participate in the 2013 adidas MLS Combine in Florida.
2011 (R-JUNIOR): Started all 19 matches at right back for Northridge as a co-captain...finished the year with three assists and three points and also had eight shots, two of which were on goal..his assist against then-No. 7 UCLA (10/22) gave the Matadors their second goal and helped them come from behind to defeat the Bruins on the road for the first time in school history...named Academic All-Conference.
2010 (R-SOPHOMORE): Competed in all 19 games for the Matadors, his second season accomplishing that feat...served as a team captain and had one assist on the year, a throw-in that led to Daniel Yoon's equalizer at then-No. 7 ranked UC Irvine, a game that the Matadors would go on to win...named Academic All-Conference.
2009 (R-FRESHMAN): Played in all 20 games, one of five student-athletes to accomplish the feat and the only first-year player to see action in every game...scored his first career goal at UC Riverside (Sept. 30) and took a total of seven shots, four of which were on-goal...named Academic All-Conference.
2008 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the CSUN program.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of St. Francis High School...a two year starter for the Golden Knights and head coach Glen Apples...a member of 2007 squad that finished season 25-2-1 and he was named to 2007 All-CIF Second Team....earned Pasadena Star News first team honors following both seasons with St. Francis and also was named to first team All-Mission League and All-San Gabriel Valley Team following both seasons.
PERSONAL: Son of Deanna Franco and Jeff Paradis...majoring in knesiology...has one sister, Danielle...also recruited by UC Santa Cruz, Connecticut and UC Riverside...favorites include Manchester United F.C., fullback Patrice Evra, actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence and the television show "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"...listens to his iPod and prays before games...would like to switch places with Kobe Bryant for a day...would entitle his autobiography "Carpe Diem."
