2012 Second Team All-Big West Conference
2012 (SENIOR): Named to the second team All-Conference after helping the Matadors lead the league with 10 shutouts...scored a goal for CSUN, putting in the game winner in the 80th minute in a 2-1 win at UC Irvine...the win clinched the first Big West Tournament berth for Northridge since 2009...took a total of 10 shots with two shots on goal.
2011 (JUNIOR): In 17 matches as a defender, Gutierrez scored one goal and had a total of two points...took seven shots and had two on goal...goal against Seattle University (Sept. 25) proved to be the game winner as the Matadors won 3-0.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Competed for the Moorpark College soccer program for two seasons, captaining both squads as a defender and midfielder...received the Coach's Award in 2008 and was given the Captain's Award and named first team All-Conference in 2009...earned his associate's degree in life studies and general studies in 2009.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of North Hollywood High School...played varsity soccer for the Huskies from 2006-08...was a captain for his senior squad and started on the varsity team in all three seasons...graduated with a 3.5 GPA.
