Lovie Jung

Lovie Jung completed her fourth season as a member of the CSUN Softball staff, serving as a graduate assistant coach in 2017. She performs various administrative duties as well as consulting with staff regarding offensive and defensive performance.
A former All-American at Fresno State and Arizona, Jung was a top second baseman and shortstop during her NCAA career. She earned multiple all-region and all-conference awards and was a finalist for the 2003 Honda Softball Award.
Jung was also a member of the 2004 and 2008 US Olympic Teams and won gold in Athens and Silver in Beijing. Two of her teammates on both teams were CSUN head coach Tairia Flowers and Director of Operations Natasha Watley.Â
Jung is also a firefighter for the Riverside County Fire Department.Â
