Kila appeared in 25 games and made seven starts ... totaled three hits, three runs and two RBI in 25 at bats ... comitted just one error in 31 chances ... recorded her first career hit vs. Utah Tech (2/15/24) ... drove in two runs vs. Pacific (2/17/24) ... collected a hit and scored a run vs. UNLV (3/2/24) ... named an NFCA Scholar-Athlete.
PRIOR TO CSUN
Named to the All-AAC Rookie Team for East Carolina in 2023 after hitting .239 (fourth on the team) at the plate and scoring 16 runs … started in 49 of the 52 games she competed in … tallied three multi-hit games … hit her first collegiate home run against Coastal Carolina on Feb. 19 … hit two home runs and drove in eight runs … named to the Dean's List for the Fall and Spring semesters.

A 2022 graduate of Mililani High School … ranked No. 48 in the Extra Inning Softball Top 100 as well as the 24th-best outfielder … hit .609 with 12 home runs and 29 RBI in 17 games during the 2021 season … helped her high school team win a pair of Oahu Interscholastic Association championships as well as the 2020 Waimea tournament title … named team MVP as a sophomore … CLUB EXPERIENCE: Played for the LK Black Hawaii program.

Daughter of Kristina Torres … favorites include Kevin Hart, Zendaya, One Tree Hill, Hawaiian Food, and Arianna Grande … chose CSUN because it was closer to home and family, and it is a good program … says her greatest sports moment so far is hitting the game-winning grand slam home run for her Lady Knights program on the first pitch of the at-bat … says the best thing about being an athlete are the experiences and meeting so many people and the life-long friends … says the toughest thing about being an athlete is the traveling and never have as much time she would like to hang out with her friends and family … says the best athlete she has competed against are Sydney McKiney … the most famous person she has met is Jocelyn Alo … the person in history she would like to meet is King Kamehameha … would like to switch places for one day with Ariana Grande … the two people she would like to have dinner with are her grandfather and Zendya … the best advice she has been given is don’t put so much pressure on yourself in this sport, no one will remember you once you leave, have fun … her advice to young people is live your life to the fullest, have fun in this game, you can only play it for so long, enjoy it while it lasts … her greatest hero is her mother because of how much she’s overcome and has done to provide for her and her siblings.
