Daughter of Anthony Jackson and Rosanna Roldan … sister Alexus plays soccer at San José State … an English major ... favorites include Bo Jackson, Idris Elba, A Different World, Mama Mia, Filipino Food, and Lauryn Hill ... chose CSUN because of the family dynamic I automatically felt when I first visited … the school felt just right for her and she felt very comfortable but also knew I would be challenged softball wise … says the best thing about being an athlete is the strength you feel both physically and mentally … says the toughest thing about being an athlete is not clinging onto the downsides … says the best athlete she has played against is Robynn Balmediano … the most famous person she has met is Derrick Rose…the person in history she would like to meet is Michael Jackson … would like to switch places for one day with her older sister to see how college life is as a soccer player … the best advice she has been given is Let your light shine, it has helped me through more things than the person that told me this could imagine … her advice to young people is enjoy your life, live it freely and be unapologetically yourself … says the biggest obstacles she has overcome has to be the mental aspect of going through an injury … her greatest hero is her oldest sister because of the example she’s set for me along with my younger siblings, she has faced a lot of adversity and has always continued to be the greatest big sister out there.
