Gonzalez prepped at Temple City High School and graduated in 2024 ... played at shortstop during her prep career ... named varsity Defensive Player of the Year as well as a two-time first-team all-league selection ... batted .506 as a senior while she posted a career .421 batting average with 136 hits, 122 runs, 55 stolen bases and 45 RBI ... helped her team advance to the CIF-SS second round as a senior ... her team also won four league titles ... as a sophomore, her team won the CIF-SS Division IV championship and advance to the state regional finals ... was a Scholar-Athlete all four years ... played travel ball with SoCal Athletics Aspeitia and Nemesis Elite.
