Elizabeth Bird joined the CSUN Sports Medicine Team for the 2018-19 season as a graduate assistant working primarily with Softball and assisting with Women’s Soccer.
Bird is orginally from Fort Worth, Texas and graduated Cum Laude from James Madison University in 2014 with a B.S. in Athletic Training and a Minor in Medical Spanish. She worked with local high schools and JMU athletics including teams such as women’s lacrosse, football and baseball.
She pursued a career after graduation with Arise Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas as a contract athletic trainer primarily working in their Wound Care Clinic and at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School.
Bird is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Studies.
