Season canceled by the Big West Conference due to COVID-19, student-athletes will not lose a year of eligibility and maintain their athletic standing for the 2021-22 academic year.
CSUN - 2019 (Sophomore)
Lexi McLeod appeared in all 28 matches and a team-high 107 sets during her sophomore season ... started 17 matches ... finished the season with 140 kills which ranked fifth on the team ... averaged 1.31 kills per set while hitting .178 on 437 total attacks ... has 446 career kills in two seasons at CSUN ... served a career-high 27 aces which led the team and ranked 13th in the Big West ... also had a career-high 263 digs (2.46 dps) which was second on the team to Makayla Bradford's 390 ... also posted 30 total blocks and 23 assists which were also career-bests ... ranked second on the Matadors with four double-doubles giving her nine in her career ... put down a season-high 13 kills to go with 11 digs in CSUN's 3-2 win over UC Irvine (Oct. 18) ... also matched her career-high with four aces against the Anteaters ... had 12 kills and 18 digs in the Matadors' five-set win at Portland State (Sept. 14) ... posted a career-high 19 digs in CSUN's 3-1 win at Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 8).
CSUN - 2018 (Freshman)
McLeod appeared in all 28 matches and 108 sets as a true freshman ... ranked second on the team with 206 kills while averaging 1.91 kills per set ... hit .125 on the season while taking 689 attempts which was second-most on the squad ... ranked third with 216 digs and 23 aces while also adding 20 blocks ... finished the season with five double-doubles that trailed only Aeryn Owens who had 10 ... reached double figures in kills 10 times, including a season-high 16 kills against Long Beach State (Sept. 22) ... also took a season-high 48 swings against the Beach ... hit a season-high .471 with nine kills on 17 attacks in CSUN's straight-set win over Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 18) ... had 10 kills on .391 hitting in the Matadors' 3-0 victory over North Texas (Aug. 31) ... tied for the team single-match high with four aces against both Utah State (Aug. 25) and Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 9) ... posted double-figure dig totals in seven matches.
CENTENNIAL HIGH SCHOOL
McLeod was a four-year starter at outside hitter at Centennial High School in Bakersfield, Calif. ... earned All-Area honors all four years for the Golden Hawks ... was named team Most Valuable Player as well as Area All-Star Athlete as a senior in 2017 ... earned the team's Big Hitter Award in 2016 and was named Rookie of the Year as a freshman in 2014 ... recorded 1,150 kills and 1,279 digs during her high school career ... also won a Silver Medal at the 2014 Junior Olympics in beach volleyball in addition to several other medals in Summer competition ... graduated in 2018.

Born in Bakersfield, Calif. ... parents are Sheila and Rick McLeod... has one younger sister, Audra ... her father played professional football for the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks and played collegiately at Texas A&M and Washington ... mother was a sprinter at CSU Bakersfield and the U.S. Sports Exchange in China ... favorites include actors Matthew McConaughey and Blake Lively, the TV show "Vampire Diaries" and the movie "Grease" ... also likes the music of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and John Mayer ... says the best thing about being an athlete is "meeting new people" and the toughest is "always having a busy schedule" ... majoring in psychology.
