2019-20 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the seasons as a medical redshirt in the CSUN program due to a foot injury.
PRIOR TO CSUN: Averaged 14.7 points, 3.7 assists, and 2.7 rebounds in 56 games for Sacramento City College from 2017-19...averaged 15.3 points per game as a freshman and 14.2 points per game as a sophomore...after struggling to an 11-15 record during her freshman season, Huffhines led the Panthers to a 20-11 record and to the third round of the CCCAA NorCal Regional Playoffs as a sophomore…was a two-time All-Conference selection…named third team All-State in 2019 as well as Sacramento City College’s Female Scholar Athlete of the Year.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Rio Linda High School...was a two-time Sacramento Bee All-Metro guard selection...playing for her father Jerry, she led Rio Linda to the 2016 CIF San-Joaquin Section, Division III Championship...team won three league titles from 2015-17…named first team All-City as a senior and third team All-City as a junior…a three-time All-League selection…served as Rio Linda's valedictorian after graduating with a 4.33 grade point average.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jerry and Mansol Huffhines…a Kinesiology major…favorites include the Sacramento Kings, Michael Jordan, Michael B. Jordan, Sandra Bullock, Stranger Things, Love & Basketball, pizza, the Jonas Brothers, H.E.R., and Youtube…chose CSUN for its environment and culture of the coaching staff and its team…the best advice she has been given is “instead of trying to build a brick wall, lay a brick every day and eventually you’ll look up and you’ll have a brick wall”…her greatest heroes are her parents be they have sacrificed so much for her.
