Alice Duan competed in all 10 tournaments and 26 rounds as a freshman ... finished the season with an 78.2 scoring average which ranked third on the the Matadors ... took a total of 2,033 strokes over 26 rounds ... posted her first collegiate top 20 finish after tying for 15th at the Santa Clara Colby Invitational with a three-round score of 20-over 236 ... was CSUN's low scorer at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic in Arizona after carding a 13-over 229 total ... low round of the season was a two-under 70 in the final round of the Big West Championship where she finished 37th.
ROBERT MCQUEEN HIGH SCHOOL
Duan lettered in golf all four years at Robert McQueen High School in Reno, NV ... earned NIAA High Desert League Athlete of the Year honors as a senior in 2015 ... was a four-time first team all-region selection (2012-15) as well as a four-time first team all-league selection ... made the all-state team in 2014 and 2015 ... the Lancers won High Desert League championships in 2012 and 2015 ... graduated in 2015 with a 4.0 grade point average and was Valedictorian.

Born February 9, 1998 in Reno, NV ... parents are Linda Ye and Darrel Duan ... has two sisters, Marie Duan-Meservy and Michelle who is playing her first season at CSUN after transferring from Nevada ... favorites include the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, golfers Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth and Adam Scott, the movies "Inglorious Basterds" and "Django Unchained" and the music of All-American Rejects and 5 Seconds of Summer ... says she chose CSUN because "SoCal weather = prime for golf" ... says the best thing about being an athlete is "the moment practice pays off and turns into results" ... major is Business Management.
