Gracie Piar competed in all 11 tournaments and 29 rounds for the Matadors during her junior season ... led CSUN with a career-low 75.07 scoring average after taking 2,177 strokes over 29 rounds ... her season average ranks fifth in program history while her career scoring average of 76.15 currently ranks third in CSUN history ... has taken 6,625 strokes over 87 rounds in her Matador career ... posted five top-10 finishes along with three top-20 finishes ... earned one of the Matadors' three individual wins by claiming individual medalist honors at the WMU Bronco Fall Classic (Oct. 7-8) where she finished at 5-over 221 (72-73-76) ... fired her low round of the season (-3, 69) at the season opening Wolverine Invitational (Sept. 8-10) where she went on to finish third posting CSUN's low tournament score of the season at 6-under 210 (70-71-69) ... also tied for sixth at the UCR Soboba Classic (Feb. 7-9) and the Cal State Bakersfield dual match (Nov. 6) and tied for 10th at The Nashville Invitational (Mar. 24-25) ... was one of four Matadors to earn 2025 Big West Spring All-Academic honors.
CSUN - 2023-24 (Sophomore)
Piar was one of three Matadors to compete in all 10 tournaments and 31 rounds in 2023-24 ... set a then season career best with a 75.84 scoring average which ranked second on the team and seventh for a single season in program history ... took a total of 2,351 strokes over 31 rounds ... heads into her junior season with a 76.69 career scoring average which ranks third in program history ... led the team with five top-10 finishes including a pair of fifth-place placings ... fired a career-low 3-under 213 to tie for eighth at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational (Oct. 23-25) ... low round of the season was 3-under 69 in round two in Hawai'i ... also went under-par with a 2-under 70 in the final round of the Red Rocks Invitational in Arizona (Mar. 16-17) ... placed fifth at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate (Mar. 27-28) and tied for fifth at the Red Bandanna Invitational (Sept. 25-26) ... finished the season with top-10 finish at the Big West Championship with a three-round score of 8-over 224.
CSUN - 2022-23 (Freshman)
Piar competed in all 10 events and all 27 rounds in her first season at CSUN in 2022-23 ... led the Matadors with a scoring average of 77.67 after taking 2,097 strokes over 27 rounds ... had CSUN's lone individual win of the season, claiming individual medalist honors at the Utah Tech Trailblazer Invitational (Feb. 13-14) with a score of 4-under 140 (67-73) ... her opening round 67 was CSUN's lowest individual round since 2014 ... had both of CSUN's sub-70 rounds of the season, 67 and 69 ... finished just outside of the top-25 in her collegiate debut at the Hobble Creek Classic (Sept. 12-13) where she finished 26th at 16-over 229 (76-84-69) ... had CSUN's low 54-hole total of the season, 226 at the Colonel Wallenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic (Sept. 26-27) ... finished in a tie for 21st at the Big West Championship (Apr. 16-18) with a three-round score of 17-over 233.
MARQUETTE CATHOLIC HS
Piar competed in both golf and basketball at Marquette Catholic High School in Alton, Ill. ... was the IHSA state champion in 2021 and regional champion from 2018-21 ... earned Madison County Player of the Year award all four years playing for the Explorers golf team and coach Deb Walsh ... was also a four-time All-State Player of the Year from 2018-21 as well as a three-time Riverbend Player of the Week ... broke every school golf record as a senior in 2021 ... graduated in 2022.

Born in Marville, Ill. ... parents are Sherri and Jarrod Piar ... has one younger sister, Kaylee ... her mom attended Lewis & Clark CC and her dad attended Wright State and Methodist ... favorites include the Ohio State Buckeyes, golfer Jordan Spieth, actors Adam Sandler and Alexandra Breckenridge, the TV show "The Ranch" and the movie "Tin Cup" ... says she chose CSUN because of the "location, weather and campus size" ... the best thing about being an athlete is "the feeling of winning and meeting people from all over the world" ... lists Lexi Thompson as the most famous person she's ever met ... plans on majoring in business - real estate.
