Started all 21 matches at center back and was a key contributor to CSUN setting numerous all-time season defensive records including overall shutouts (15), consecutive shutouts (6) and consecutive conference shutouts (6) ... Also helped the team allow the fewest goals (2) at home in a single season in team history ... Earned Big West Defensive Player of the Year and All-First Team honors ... Received Big West Defender of the Week accolades (10/17/16) ... Finished with a goal, two assists, four points and 10 shots with seven on goal ... Played in 2,001 minutes during the season and only sat on the bench for 14 total minutes ... Received All-Marquette Invitational honors for her work on the backline in the two matches (9/16/16-9/18/16) ... Assisted Taylor Hobson on a goal at Long Beach State (10/2/16) ... Scored first career goal and game winner on a header off a corner kick against UC Riverside (10/13/16) ... Earned an assist on a game-winning goal from Kourtney Kutscher in overtime versus Hawai'i (10/30/16) ... In her career, CSUN posted 31 shutouts in her 67 games with the team.
2015 Season (Redshirt Junior)
Thompson made 20 starts in defense for the Matadors ... Recorded a career-high two assists while posting six shots with two on goal ... Played every minute in 17 matches ... Helped anchor a defense that posted seven shutouts on the season ... Recorded assists in two Matador victories against the likes of Southern Utah (8/28/15) and Detroit (9/6/15).
2014 Season (Redshirt Sophomore)
Thompson started all 20 matches in her second season at CSUN … Picked up game-winning assist in the Matadors’ victory at Cal Poly … Totaled seven shots, putting three on goal.
2013 Season (Redshirt Freshman)
Thompson appeared in six games and made three starts in her freshman season … Put her one shot on goal.
