2022 (R-SENIOR): Took advantage of COVID-19 waiver to play an additional season...tied with Magdalena Hedrzak and Ekaterina Repina for third on the team in singles victories (5)...went 1-2 at No. 5 singles and 4-0 at No. 6 singles...tied with Victoria Santibañez Luna and Magdalena Hedrzak for fourth in doubles victories with five...played 13 matches (5-8) at No. 3 doubles with Santibañez Luna and Yuliia Zhytelna...named Academic All-Conference.
2021 (SENIOR): Tied for fourth on the team in singles wins with Jolene Coetzee and Ana Isabel Fraile Toboso as she tallied a 4-2 record…was 2-0 at No. 5 singles and 2-2 at No. 6 singles…was 3-5 in doubles, playing with three different partners...earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
PRIOR TO CSUN: A member of the women’s tennis team at Sacramento State from 2018-20…was named second-team All-Big Sky Conference as a sophomore after going 14-5 in singles (9-1 Big Sky)…played No. 1 singles for the Hornets as a junior in all 11 duals…went 27-24 in singles play and 11-34 in doubles for Sacramento State.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Novato High School…was named the 2017 MCAL (Marin County Athletic League) Girls’ Tennis Player of the Year after going undefeated in league play (13-0)…won the MCAL singles title in straight sets (6-0, 6-2) during season before advancing to the North Coast Sectionals, ultimately finishing third...selected first team All-MCAL as a junior and sophomore, and second team MCAL as a freshman...team was named the North Coast Section's Distinguished Scholastic Team in '14-15.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Mark and Brenda Dorian...a communication studies major...favorites include the San Francisco Giants, Buster Posey, Johnny Depp, Emma Watson, SpongeBob Square Pants, Harry Potter, Fifth Harmony, and Justin Bieber…chose CSUN for the area and the coaching staff…says the best thing about being an athlete is the experience. Having built in friends, sports staff helping you, coaches that are trying to better you, and competing…her pre-match ritual is always to have pickles…the person in history she would like to meet is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr…is she could switch places with one person for a day, it would be Kourtney Kardashian…her greatest hero is her mom who she says she has always believed in me and gone through everything with me.
