Kylie Miller completed her first season as an assistant coach on John Price's staff in 2023.
Miller was named an Assistant Coach for the CSUN Indoor team in July of 2022. In addition to her on-court duties, Miller also serves as the Matadors' recruiting coordinator. Under MIller's tutelage, sophomore setter Carisa Barron earned honorable mention accolades and libero Breanna Mitchell was named to the All-Freshman Team.
Barron earned honorable mention recognition from the conference's 11 head coaches after leading the Matadors in assists with 624 (5.07 aps) while also ranking third in both kills (253) and digs (272) and fourth in blocks (57). After posting her first career triple-double in CSUN's five-set win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Sept. 16, Barron added five more triple-doubles in 20 Big West matches. The only Big West women's volleyball player with multiple triple-doubles this season (UC Riverside's Tayler Hifo had one), Barron had five triples in her last 14 matches of the season.

Miller spent the 2021 season at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, helping the Athenas tie the program record for wins in a season (31) while finishing the conference season undefeated (16-0) for the first time in program history. Claremont advanced to the NCAA Division III Semifinals for only the second time in program history.
As a student-athlete, Miller transferred to the University of Minnesota after spending her first three years at UCLA. A native of Rancho Cucamonga, Miller played in 179 career sets for the Bruins and accumulated 1,278 assists, 34 aces and 211 digs. In her first season setting for the Bruins in 2016, UCLA reached the Elite 8 and finished ranked No. 6 in the country. Joining the Minnesota Volleyball team in January 2019, Miller helped lead the Gophers to 27-6 overall record and a Final Four appearance.
In addition to her indoor playing experience, Miller found success on the beach and won two gold medals at Nationals in pairs competition. She also earned the Joel Ferrell Memorial Award which recognizes the athletic ability and sportsmanship of an athlete representing each official sport at the AAU Olympic Games.
Miller prepped at Rancho Cucamonga High School where she played indoor volleyball and was an Under Armour All-American as well as a candidate for California Gatorade Player of the Year. She was ranked as the #11 overall recruit by PrepVolleyball and the #1 setter in her 2016 class. Miller was also a standout club volleyball player for Forza1 in Ontario where she led her teams to four medals at Junior Nationals, including three straight from 2010-12.
"Kylie is going to be a great all-around coach, but I will lean on her for her setting experience," said Price. "Setting and defense are two areas that are of the utmost importance and Kylie will be critical for us in improving those key areas."
