Maddie Leiphardt appeared in 24 matches and 68 sets in her first season at CSUN ... started 16 matches at setter ... led CSUN with 489 assists (7.19 aps) which ranked eighth in the Big West ... was fourth on the team with 133 digs (1.96 dps) and also fourth with 11 aces (0.16 saps) ... added 16 kills and seven blocks ... led CSUN with four double-doubles, including a 59 assist-10 dig performance at UC Riverside (Nov. 3) ... had 19 assists and a season-high 12 digs vs. St. Mary's (Sept. 10) ... posted 30 assists and 10 digs in CSUN's 3-1 win over UC Davis (Sept. 26).
SANTA BARBARA CITY COLLEGE
Leiphardt spent two seasons (2013, 2014) at Santa Barbara City College in Santa Barbara, Calif. ... was the setter and team captain for coach Ed Gover ... posted a team-high 835 assists (9.28 aps) and 205 digs (2.28 dps) as a sophomore in 2014 ... also served 26 aces for the Vaqueros who finished the season with a 20-6 overall record ... was named Western State Conference North Player of the Year as well as conference MVP and was selected for Southern California All-Regional Team ... earned her associate of arts degree in 2015.
DOS PUEBLOS HIGH SCHOOL
Leiphardt competed in both volleyball and soccer at Dos Pueblos High School in Goleta, Calif. ... was a starting setter for the Chargers as well as team captain ... earned team Most Valuable Player honors ... also was a starting midfielder for the soccer squad ... graduated in 2013 with a 3.2 grade point average.
