Naomi Ruiz enters her second year as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the CSUN sports medicine team in 2016-17. She works with the men's and women's cross country programs as well as women's water polo.
Ruiz is originally from Yokosuka, Japan, and earned her Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training from the University of South Florida. While there, she gained experience working with various private and public high schools, as well as Division I sports including cross country, volleyball, football and track & field. Â
Ruiz is pursuing a Master's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Physiology.
